Gift of Time

Don’t know what to get for presents this year – Give the Gift of Time this Christmas. That’s right, no need to rush from store to store looking for the perfect gift.

The Gift of Time has so much to offer. Time together with a loved one, with family or friends is a gift that is both fun to give and receive. Have you been putting off going to see that movie with your best friend because your schedules don’t align? Stop making excuses and make it happen. Is that new game or puzzle sitting around waiting to be played or put together? Put down your laptops, phones and tables and gather the family around the kitchen table for some togetherness. Call your cousins, aunts and uncles and plan to meet at grandma’s house for an impromptu potluck. Text your sister and meet at the park for a long leisurely walk. Another Gift of Time that shouldn’t be forgotten is making time to worship the newborn king. When planning your Christmas schedules, make sure worship is a priority on that list.
