Grateful Thankful Blessed

Grateful, Thankful and Blessed – the perfect motto for Thanksgiving. Are you embodying these three characteristics?

But wait, what is grateful and thankful? Are they the same or are they different?  Let’s take a closer look. According to this article, gratitude is an attitude while thankful is a response. Being grateful shows a general appreciation for people, gifts, opportunities and things in life. Being thankful is a response to a specific person, event or thing.

At Graduation Ink, we are grateful for many things, including our new building, the newly acquired equipment and business software that enables us to serve our customers more efficiently, dedicated employees, family and friends. We are most thankful for you – our customers. You trust us to provide quality diplomas, certificates and covers to serve as keepsakes for life’s important accomplishments. Thank you for allowing us this special privilege in providing these products and services for you.

That leaves the word Blessed. Blessed means divinely favored. As Christians, we believe our blessings come from our Heavenly Father. As James 1:17 tells us, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.” And also in 2 Corinthians 9:8, “And God is able to bless you abundantly so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” Blessed indeed!

Over the course of this Thanksgiving week, see if you can pay more attention to your surroundings and happenings in order to recognize circumstances when you can truly show that you are Grateful, Thankful and Blessed. Then give thanks to God for all your blessings, as he showers us daily with his grace.

As always, if we can be of assistance, please reach out to one of our customer service representatives. Happy Thanksgiving!
