How to get the wrinkles out

Graduation Gowns
We know that the gowns come very wrinkled!   We are going to provide you with some different ways to get the wrinkles out.

The most recommended approach is using a garment steamer, which applies gentle heat and moisture to relax the fabric fibers without direct contact, making it ideal for delicate polyester or polyester-blend materials commonly used in gowns.

If a steamer is not available, the bathroom steam method is a cost-effective alternative. Hang the gown on a hanger in the bathroom, away from direct water spray, close all doors and windows, and run the shower on the hottest setting for 15–20 minutes to create a steam-filled environment.

For a quick fix, a hair dryer can be used on a medium heat setting while lightly misting the fabric with water from a spray bottle, moving the dryer constantly to avoid overheating.

Ironing is possible but requires extreme caution. Turn the gown inside out, place a clean cotton towel or pressing cloth over the fabric, and set the iron to the lowest heat setting (synthetic or silk) with steam turned off.

Tassels, Cords, and SashesTassels and Graduation Year

The Tassels can be made in just about any color you can think of!  The tassels come with the graduation year.  You are able to choose from silver or gold as well as a few different design options.  The caps and gowns also have a big variety of colors.  The company also has Honor Cords in two different options.  You can choose from one color or two colors.  You are also able to order stoles and sashes.  These do not have as many color options but you can also have embroidery put on them!
