The Story of Graduation Ink

The history of Kremer printing dates back to 1948 after Clarence Kremer’s WWII service.  He and Lydia Kremer established Kremer Letter Services in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Although church printing was the main service they provided, they soon branched out into other areas and began to supply churches and schools with other products.

Although the name has changed a bit over the years, Clarence and Lydia’s sons, Denis, David and Ren, continued the Kremer tradition with Kremer Publications, Inc. and Kremer Resources LLC.  In the mid-2000’s Jesse, Ren’s son, was between career paths and looking for other options.  Kremer Publications, Inc. was already working with many Catholic and Lutheran elementary schools.  Jesse began Graduation Ink in an effort to locate additional diploma clientele.  Sharing the small foil stamping machine at the Kremer “shop” and eventually his own used machine in the basement of the family’s home, Graduation Ink was born.

In 2022, shortly after the passing of their 17 year old daughter, Miriam, Jesse and Janet completed construction of their 6000 square foot facility in Kewaskum, Wisconsin – 30 minutes north of Milwaukee.  Now operating high tech digital, UV and foil machine printers, the Kremer tradition of excellence in customer service, high-class products and personal care is second-to-none.
