Happy Thanksgiving from Graduation Ink! This time of year is for reflecting on the things we are most thankful and grateful for and blessed with.

But wait, what is grateful and thankful? Are they the same or are they different? Let’s take a closer look. According to this article, gratitude is an attitude while thankful is a response. Being grateful shows a general appreciation for people, gifts, opportunities and things in life. Being thankful is a response to a specific person, event or thing.

As Christians, we believe our blessings come from our Heavenly Father. A Thanksgiving verse from 1 Chronicles 16:34, Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever! Also, one from Psalm 118:21, I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation. Blessed indeed!
